<p class="Help-Text">Quick Pick allows you to &#160;group items in inventory and then quickly add items from these groups to be purchased &#160;with fewer mouse clicks. Quick Pick works especially well for frequently sold items or services that you do not tag.</p>
<p class="Help-Text">One example: In a sports shop, you keep a barrel of ice-cold sports drinks in several flavors near the checkout counter. The icy wet conditions make tagging impractical. &#160;So, you complete the following steps to make them Quick Pick items.</p>
<p class="Help-Note"><span class="hcp1">Note</span>: These procedures illustrate using Quick Pick for sales. &#160;They can also be set up and used when receiving items from your vendors.</p>

<p class="Help-Heading-2">Define Quick Pick Groups</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">On the <span class="hcp1">Make a Sale</span> page, click <span class="hcp1">Quick Pick Items</span> from the left sidebar.</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">Click <span class="hcp1">Add Group</span>.</p>
</li>
<li class="p-Help-Steps">
<p class="Help-Steps">Type the name of the new Group on the new icon that displays.</p>
</li>
<li class="p-Help-Steps">
<p class="Help-Steps">Right-click on any Group icon to change the Group color, rename the Group, or remove the Group from Quick Pick.<br></p>

<p class="Help-Text">There is no limit to how many Quick Pick groups you can add; add one group for each collection of related items you wish to add as Quick Pick items. &#160;</p>

<p class="Help-Heading-2">Add Items to Quick Pick Groups</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">On the <span class="hcp1">Make a Sale</span> page, click <span class="hcp1">Quick Pick Items</span> from the left sidebar.</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">Click on the Group to which you want to add items.</p>
</li>
<li class="p-Help-Steps">
<p class="Help-Steps">Click <span class="hcp1">Add Item</span>.</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">In the <span class="hcp1">Select an Item</span> box, type, search, and select the item you wish to place into this Group. Once selected, the item information will display within the Group. &#160;An item can be assigned to only one Quick Pick Group at a time.</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">Repeat steps 3 and 4 to add more items to the same Group.</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">To select another Group, click <span class="hcp1">Groups</span>.</p>

<p class="Help-Text">For Quick Pick to work effectively, try to keep the number of items to 12 or less (so they can all be displayed on a single Quick Pick page from a receipt).</p>

<p class="Help-Heading-2">Remove Items from Quick Pick Groups</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">On the <span class="hcp1">Make a Sale</span> page, click <span class="hcp1">Quick Pick Items</span> from the left sidebar.</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">Click on the Group with the item you wish to remove.</p>
</li>
<li class="p-Help-Steps">
<p class="Help-Steps">Double-click on the item you want to remove and select <span class="hcp1">&#160;Remove Item from Quick Pick</span>.</p>

<p class="Help-Text">The removed item was only removed from the Quick Pick Group. &#160;It still remains in the Item List.</p>

<p class="Help-Heading-2">Sell the Item</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">On the sales receipt, click <span class="hcp1">Quick Pick Item</span> from the left sidebar.</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">From the Quick Pick Item dialog, click the desired &#160;Group. If more than 12 groups exist, previous and next page buttons are added to this dialog.</p>

<p class="Help-Bulleted">You can use the <span class="hcp1">Quick Pick Item List</span> report (In <span class="hcp1">Items</span> &gt; <span class="hcp1">Current Inventory category</span>) to view or print a list of all your Quick Pick groups and items.</p>
