<p class="Help-Note"><span class="hcp1">Note</span>: This task is available only at Remote Stores. If you also received a regular Store Exchange file from Headquarters, receive that file first. This ensures that any new items, for which pictures might be included in the picture file, are added to your inventory first.</p>

<p class="Help-Text">If your Headquarters location adds pictures to inventory items, they can send the picture file to you on removable media. After processing the picture file, you will be able to see the item pictures on the item records and on most Point of Sale documents.</p>
<p class="Help-Text">Due to the potentially large file sizes, item pictures are not included in the normal Store Exchange process. Headquarters will need to prepare and send a separate picture file.</p>
<p class="Help-Info-Line">To receive a picture file:</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">From the Stores menu or the Store Exchange Center, select <span class="hcp1">Receive Pictures</span>.</p>

<li class="p-Help-Steps">
<p class="Help-Steps">In the Receive Pictures dialog, browse to the folder or drive containing the picture file from Headquarters.</p>

<p class="Help-Nested-List">The default picture file name is: QBPOS Item Pictures.qbt.</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">Select <span class="hcp1">Next</span> to continue. A summary of the number of pictures in the received file is displayed.</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">Select <span class="hcp1">Import</span> to process the file.</p>
</li>
<li class="p-Help-Steps">
<p class="Help-Steps">Select <span class="hcp1">Close</span> to exit once the process is complete.</p>

<p class="Help-Text">The pictures will automatically be displayed for your inventory items, provided your <a href="../qbpos_company_preferences/companyprefs_inventory.htm">preferences</a> are set to associate pictures with items.</p>
