<p class="Help-Text">The Financial Exchange activity log allows you to review the details of the data shared between Point of Sale and QuickBooks Desktop. It summarizes the data that has been imported, added, and updated between the two programs.</p>
|
||
|
|
<p class="Help-Text">The activity log is a useful tool for troubleshooting problems that arise during Financial Exchange and can help you locate problematic data.</p>
|
||
|
|
<p class="Help-Text">If an error occurs, you will see a problem message in the Financial Exchange summary window.</p>
|
||
|
|
<p class="Help-Info-Line">To view the Activity Log:</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">To view the log for a different date, select a date from the left side of the window, and a time of day to narrow the entries even further.</p>

<p class="Help-Bulleted">Logs for individual exchanges can be viewed one at a time. If data is shared multiple times a day, a separate time-stamped entry is made for each exchange.</p>

<p class="Help-Bulleted">With each new exchange, entries older than 30 days are purged from the log.</p>
