<p class="Help-Text">Gift cards are sold or recharged on sales receipts. Up to three gift cards can be sold on a single receipt. The gift card item and sales amount are printed on the customer receipt.</p>

<p class="Help-Info-Line">To sell or recharge a gift card:</p>

||

<p class="Help-Text">Start a new receipt with or without other items listed.</p>
|
||

<p class="Help-Text">Swipe the gift card while in the <font class="hcp1">Enter Items</font> field on the receipt. Alternatively, type <font style="font-style: italic;">Gift Card</font> and then press <font style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;"><Enter></font> to add a gift card to the receipt item list.</p>

<p class="Help-Text">In the window displayed, enter the gift card sale amount and swipe the gift card (or manually enter the card number) and then select <span><font class="hcp1">OK</font></span>.</p>

<p class="Help-Text">Repeat for additional gift cards, up to three on the receipt.</p>

<p class="Help-Text">Use general payment procedures to accept the amount due or give change until the Payment Complete message is displayed.<br>

||
|

Point of Sale connects to the Gift Card Service and updates the balance for the card(s). Progress and confirmation messages are displayed.</p>

<p class="Help-Bulleted">Price (sale amount) is the only editable field when listing a gift card on a receipt as an item. To sell multiple cards, enter each as a separate item.</p>
