<p class="Help-Info-Line">To redeem a gift card on a purchase:</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">After listing the items being sold, select the <span class="hcp1">Gift</span> payment type and then select <span class="hcp1">Gift Card</span>. The Gift Card dialog opens.</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">Be sure <span class="hcp1">Redeem Card</span> is selected and enter the amount in the <span class="hcp1">Amount</span> field.</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">Point of Sale connects to the Gift Card Service and checks the balance of the card and a confirmation message displayed:</p>

<p class="Help-Nested-List">If the card balance is equal to or more than the amount due, the payment amount is deducted from the card balance and payment is complete.</p>

<p class="Help-Nested-List">If the card balance is less than the amount due, the card balance is adjusted to zero and the authorized amount is auto-populated to the <font class="hcp2">Gift Card Redeem</font> field. You will need to take additional payment by another gift card or any other method for the remaining amount due.</p>
