<p class="Help-Text">Copying a previously saved document is sometimes the fastest way to create a new document, especially if you want to list the same items, costs, prices, customer or vendor, etc.</p>

<p class="Help-Text">(Pro with multiple stores) Headquarters can copy documents originally made at other stores. Remote stores are limited to viewing and copying documents made at their own store.</p>
<p class="Help-Info-Line">To copy a document:</p>
<ol>

<p class="Help-Steps">Locate and highlight/display the document to be copied in the appropriate document list.</p>

<li class="p-Help-Steps">
<p class="Help-Steps">Select <span class="hcp1">C</span><font class="hcp2">opy</font> from the I Want To menu (or from the window toolbar in some areas).</p>

</ol>
<p class="Help-Indent">A new document is created with most of the same information as the original. See the note below for what is not copied.</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">Edit the new document, as necessary.</p>

<p class="Help-Indent">You can add or delete items, change quantities, costs, or prices, and edit other fields as needed.</p>

<p class="Help-Bulleted">If an item listed on the original document has been deleted from inventory, the deleted item is removed from the copy automatically. Changes to an item's description or other information in inventory will not affect copying.</p>

<p class="Help-Bulleted">You cannot copy a held document, a Pay Out receipt, or a deposit receipt.</p>
