<p class="Help-Text">Use the first page of the Wizard to specify:</p>
<p class="Help-Text"><font class="hcp1">Tax Code</font> Enter one to three characters to represent this tax code. Choose a code that is recognizable to you and your employees. The tax code is used on program screens or reports where space prevents displaying the longer tax code name.</p>
<p class="Help-Text"><font class="hcp1">Tax Code Name</font> Enter a descriptive name for this tax code. If this code is for a specific merchandise type, such as jewelry or clothing, we suggest you use the merchandise type as the tax code name. If all of your merchandise is taxed the same, you may just have one code named <span class="hcp2">Taxable</span> and a second named <span class="hcp2">Exempt</span>.</p>
<p class="Help-Text"><font class="hcp1">Tax Code Mark</font> (optional) Enter a one-character mark that identifies items sold with this tax code on printed sales receipts.</p>
<p class="Help-Text">When finished, select <font class="hcp1">next</font>.</p>
