<p class="Help-Note">This information is applicable to the import preview page of the <span class="hcp1">Data Import Wizard</span>. From the File menu, select <span class="hcp1">Utilities <font style="font-family: 'Wingdings 3';" face="Wingdings 3"></font> Import</span>.</p>
<p class="Help-Text">&#160;</p>
<p class="Help-Text">Point of Sale checks the import file and displays a summary of the records to be imported. This provides you an opportunity to verify and correct any errors before actually importing records.</p>
<p class="Help-Text">We recommend you review the information on this page carefully and click any links that explain possible import errors.</p>
<p class="Help-Text">This page displays:</p>
<ul>
<li class="p-Help-Bulleted" style="margin-left: -20px;">
<p class="Help-Bulleted">The number of valid records in the import file.</p>
</li>
<li class="p-Help-Bulleted" style="margin-left: -20px;">
<p class="Help-Bulleted">The number of records that will be added to Point of Sale.</p>
</li>
<li class="p-Help-Bulleted" style="margin-left: -20px;">
<p class="Help-Bulleted">The number of records that will be updated in Point of Sale.</p>
</li>
<li class="p-Help-Bulleted" style="margin-left: -20px;">
<p class="Help-Bulleted">Whether or not any errors were found in the records and a link to the <a href="data_import_log.htm">import log</a> to view them.</p>
</li>
<li class="p-Help-Bulleted" style="margin-left: -20px;">
<p class="Help-Bulleted">An option to back up your company data before importing. It is highly recommended that you do so.</p>
</li>

<p class="Help-Text">Select <span class="hcp1">Cancel</span> or <span class="hcp1">Previous</span> if you need to correct errors in your import file before proceeding. To proceed with data import, select <font style="font-weight: bold;">Import</font>.</p>
