<p class="Help-Text">You can use Point of Sale for 5 days without registering. On the 6<span style="vertical-align: super;">th</span> day, you must register to continue using Point of Sale. You will be reminded to register each time you start the program until registration has been completed. You can register online or by phone.</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">From the Product Registration reminder screen on the <a href="help_wstypes.htm">Server Workstation</a>, select <font class="hcp1">Register Now</font>.</p>

<p class="Help-Indent">If you are connected to the Internet, an online registration form is displayed.</p>
<p class="Help-Indent">If you are not connected to the Internet, the phone registration window is displayed. Dial the number listed to register.</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">Follow the online prompts or the instructions provided by the phone agent to complete your registration.</p>

<p class="Help-Bulleted">You are encouraged to register promptly. Besides keeping your software functional, registration provides other valuable benefits including access to technical support, product updates, and certain other online features.</p>

<p class="Help-Bulleted">Multiple copies of Point of Sale on a network in one location share a license number. If you install another workstation with a different license number, you are prompted to <a href="help_licensemerge.htm">merge</a> the license number with that of your Server Workstation. <a href="help_licensing.htm">Learn more</a>.</p>

<p class="Help-Bulleted">Each workstation installed on a network must have the same Point of Sale level (i.e., Free, Basic, Pro) and version (e.g., 10.0) to access the same company file.</p>

<p class="Help-Bulleted">Your license and product number can be viewed by selecting <font class="hcp1">About Point of Sale</font> from the Help menu.
