<p class="Help-Text">Store Exchange files must be secured by a password. Password encryption helps protect your data from being read if intercepted by unintended recipients.</p>
<p class="Help-Text"><span class="hcp2">Important:</span> The same password must be entered at each store. If the password encrypting a Store Exchange file you receive does not match the password you have entered, you will not be able to process the file.</p>
<p class="Help-Info-Line">To define your Store Exchange password:</p>

<p class="Help-Bulleted">You can also set your password from the Store Exchange Center. From the Stores menu, select <span class="hcp2">Store Exchange Center</span> and then select <span class="hcp2">Set Password</span>.</p>

<p class="Help-Bulleted">If you use Point of Sale for more than one company file, be sure you enter a different password for each company file. Otherwise, the receiving store could process a file into the wrong company file.</p>
