<p class="Help-Info-Line">To enter counts directly on the Physical Inventory Count window:</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">Use <a href="pi561.htm">filtering</a> and <a href="../qbpos_basic_procedures/basic261.htm">sorting</a> procedures to locate and group items in the Physical Inventory &#160;window item list.</p>

<p class="Help-Indent">If counting the items in a specific department or entering from a printed <a href="pi551.htm">Store Count worksheet</a>, we suggest filtering your list to display only the items in that department and/or the items on the worksheet. This will help minimize data entry time.</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">Enter the counted quantity in the <span style="font-weight: bold;">Counted</span> column.</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">Enter other counts from the <a href="pi_addcounts.htm">Add Counts by Hand</a> window or the <a href="pi_pdt.htm">physical inventory scanner</a>, if applicable.</p>
