<p class="Help-Indent">The <b>Cash</b> dialog opens, with the balance due displayed in the <b>Amount</b> field.</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">Accept or enter the amount tendered by the customer:</p>

<p class="Help-Nested-List">If the customer tenders the exact full amount by cash, simply click <span class="hcp3">Save</span> (if you have accidentally cleared the amount, click <span class="hcp3">Exact Amount</span> to put the balance due back in the Amount field)<span class="hcp3">.</span></p>

<p class="Help-Nested-List">Select <span class="hcp3">Next Dollar</span> to increase the amount to the next whole dollar, e.g., 76.00 in the example shown.</p>

<p class="Help-Nested-List">If customer tenders a different amount, type the new amount over the old amount. For example, if the customer gives you $80 cash for a $ 75.37 sale, type 80 over the 75.37. It is not necessary to type the decimal point and zeroes after the 80. &#160;</p>

<p class="Help-Indent" style="margin-left: 48px;">Click the denomination buttons to enter the tendered amount (e.g., click $20 four times to enter $80).</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">Click <span class="hcp3">Save</span> to confirm the cash payment. &#160;You are returned to the sales receipt form. The cash payment and, if applicable, change due are shown in the totals area of the receipt.</p>
