<p class="Help-Text">Requiring employees to log in with a login name and password activates the security features of Point of Sale.</p>

<p class="Help-Text">After activating security in this manner, <a href="secadmin02.htm">add</a> or <a href="secadmin04.htm">edit employee records</a>, assigning user names, passwords, and security rights as needed.</p>

<p class="Help-Text">Only the System Administrator can change this setting in the future. To deactivate security, come to the same preference page and clear the check box.</p>
