<p class="Help-Text">If an existing department is similar to one you want to add, copy the existing department and edit the copy to reflect the new department information.</p>

<p class="Help-Info-Line">To create a department by copying an existing department record:</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">In your department list, highlight the department record to be copied.</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">Select <font class="hcp1">Copy</font> from the window toolbar.</p>

<p class="Help-Indent">All the fields from the original department are copied to a new record.</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">Enter a unique <font class="hcp1">Department Name</font> and modify the other department fields, as necessary.</p>
