<p class="Help-Text">A slip can be put on hold to allow you to carry out other activities. For example, you might temporarily hold a slip in progress while you make a sale, then unhold and complete it after the sale is completed. If a transfer is not physically completed the same day you make the slip you may also want to place the slip on hold until the transfer is completed. This ensures that item quantities are not updated until the merchandise physically is moved from one store to the other.</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">Select <span class="hcp2">H</span><font class="hcp3">old Slip</font> from the bottom tool bar.</p>

<p class="Help-Text">The slip is added to the list of held slips. A slip can be viewed, printed, or deleted while on hold. A held slip is not sent to Headquarters (if made at a remote) and does not update inventory until it has been unheld and saved.</p>

<p class="Help-Info-Line">To unhold a slip:</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">From the Inventory menu or the bottom of the transfer history window, select <font class="hcp3">Held Transfer Slips</font>.</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">Highlight the slip you want and select <span class="hcp2">U</span><font class="hcp3">nhold Slip</font> from the bottom tool bar.</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">The selected slip is made active again. Make any necessary modifications and then save and print.</p>
