<p class="Help-Text">Cash drawer payouts are sent to QuickBooks as general journal transactions against the <span class="hcp1">Cash in Drawer</span> account and the <span class="hcp1">Cash Drawer Payout</span> expense account (or another expense or liability account you specify when creating the payout).</p>

<p class="Help-Text">If you pay <a href="../qbpos_recording_sales_and_returns/receipt_tips.htm">employee tips</a> from your cash drawer, you should select the <span class="hcp1">Employee Tips Payable</span> account.</p>
