<p class="Help-Text">A <font class="hcp1">Promo Code</font> can be used to record a promotional event applying to a sale. Examples include coupon numbers, ad references, sale event names, etc.</p>
|
|
<p class="Help-Text">Recording promotional codes on receipts allows you to <a href="../qbpos_reports_and_sales_charts/reports02.htm">filter reports</a> by the codes to evaluate the effectiveness of your promotions and advertising.</p>
|
|
<p class="Help-Text">Optionally, you can require an entry in the <font class="hcp1">Promo Code</font> field before a receipt can be saved via a <a href="../qbpos_company_preferences/sysprefs07.htm">company preference</a> setting.</p>
|

<p class="Help-Info-Line">To record a Promo Code on a receipt:</p>
