<p class="Help-Text">If you require employee logins, the reports an employee can access are determined by the security group to which he or she is assigned. Each report is assigned a security access level. The report access levels and security groups which can view them are as follows:</p>

<p class="Help-Text">Reports that the currently logged-on user does not have access rights to will not be available for selection. If program logins are not required, all employees have access to all reports. The <a href="javascript:void(0);" id="a1" onmouseover="if (parseInt(navigator.appVersion) >= 4 &amp;&amp; typeof(BSPSPopupOnMouseOver) == 'function') BSPSPopupOnMouseOver(event);" class="BSSCPopup" onclick="BSSCPopup('../qbpos_secadmin/about_the_security_administrator.html');return false;">System Administrator<img src="../image/yellow_up.gif" alt="Click to display a popup topic" title="Click to display a popup topic" style="border: none;" width="10" height="12" border="0"></a> always has access to all reports.</p>
<p class="Help-Text">A separate security right, <span class="hcp4">Modify report options</span>, controls the ability to modify a report, including dates. If using the pre-defined security groups, all employees have rights to modify the reports to which they have access.</p>
<p class="Help-Text">If the default security levels do not meet your needs, you can change the report access levels or customize your <a href="../qbpos_secadmin/secadmin12.htm">security groups</a> to give your employees the rights you wish. The ability to make these changes are themselves also subject to security rights (only available to the System Administrator and default Owner group).</p>
<p class="Help-Info-Line">To view or change the access level of a report:</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">In the Create a Report wizard, select the <span class="hcp4">S</span><font class="hcp5">et Report Access Level</font> button.</p>

<p class="Help-Indent">On a displayed report, select <span class="hcp4">M</span><font class="hcp5">odify</font> and then the <span class="hcp4">S</span><font class="hcp5">ecurity</font> tab.</p>
