<p class="Help-Text">This procedure is for installing Ingenico PIN pads, models 3070/2100/3010, for use with the <a href="../qbpos_merchant_service/cardservicesoverview.htm">QuickBooks POS Merchant Service</a>.</p>

<p class="Help-Info-Line">To install the PIN pad:</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">Make sure the Point of Sale installation disk is in your CD-ROM drive. (Cancel the Installation Wizard if it launches.)</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">Launch Point of Sale.</p>

|
|
<p class="Help-Steps">From the File menu, select <span class="hcp1">Hardware Setup Wizard</span>.</p>

<p class="Help-Bulleted">If Windows does not automatically detect the hardware, make sure the unit is receiving power (the screen will be active) and plugged in correctly. You can also try unplugging the USB end of the cable, waiting a moment and then plugging it back in.</p>

<p class="Help-Bulleted">If your device is not installed automatically, you can install the driver by browsing to the <font class="hcp2">\Drivers\Ingenico</font> folder on the Point of Sale CD.</p>
