<p class="Help-Text">Point of Sale ships with default templates for each document, tag, and label type. You can directly modify one of the default templates or make a copy of a default template to use as a starting point to create a new template.</p>
|

<p class="Help-Info-Line">To select a document template to modify or copy:</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">From the Tools menu, select <span class="hcp1">P</span><font class="hcp2">rint Designer</font>.</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">Select the document category you wish to modify from the Select a Document Type drop-down list.</p>
|

<p class="Help-Steps">Select the specific template you wish to work with from the Available Documents list.</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">Select the desired option:</p>

<p class="Help-Nested-List">To create a new template, choose <span class="hcp1">C</span><font class="hcp2">opy Selected</font> from the Options menu. When done, save the template with a new name and answer <span class="hcp1">Yes</span> when asked if you want to make it the default template when printing that document type.</p>

<p class="Help-Nested-List">To modify the default template, select <span class="hcp1">M</span><font class="hcp2">odify</font> at the bottom of the window.</p>

<p class="Help-Text">The selected template is displayed in the Print Designer, ready for you to modify.</p>
|

<p class="Help-Info-Line">Other options from this window include:</p>

<p class="Help-Bulleted"><font class="hcp2">Revert Design to Default</font> available from the Options menu, this selection resets a modified template back to its original design.</p>

<p class="Help-Bulleted"><font class="hcp2">Delete Selected Design</font> available from the Options menu, removes the selected design. Note that default templates can not be deleted.</p>
