<p class="Help-Text">With adequate security rights to do so, you can view and edit the security rights assigned to any of your security groups or add a new group with the rights needed. If employees assigned to a group you are editing are currently working in Point of Sale, their revised rights won't go into effect for them until they log out and then back in.</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">From the Employees menu, select <span class="hcp2">Security</span>. (Or, from the Employee list, select <font class="hcp3">View/Edit Security Rights</font> from the I Want To menu.)</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">Select or clear checkboxes for specific rights in the columns for any of your security groups.</p>

<p class="Help-Nested-List">Use the <span class="hcp2">View</span> drop-down to limit the displayed rights to a single area of the program or choose <span class="hcp2">All Security Rights</span> to view them all.</p>

<p class="Help-Nested-List">Use the <span class="hcp2">Find</span> field at the top of the window to search for a specific right by keyword. To narrow your search, select a program area from the <span class="hcp2">View</span> drop-down list first.</p>

<p class="Help-Nested-List">Select <span class="hcp2">Revert Default Groups</span> at the bottom of the window to reset all rights of the four predefined groups back to the default settings.</p>

<p class="Help-Nested-List">Select <span class="hcp2">Print</span> to print a report of the assigned security rights by group.</p>

<p class="Help-Bulleted">If you can't find a security right in the program area you are expecting it, try selecting <span class="hcp2">General</span>, <span class="hcp2">POS</span>, or <span class="hcp2">All Security Rights</span> from the View drop-down list and then searching for it.</p>
