<p class="Help-Text">Use these procedures to record shipping information and charges on sales receipts.</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">Select an existing customer shipping address or select <span class="hcp4">Add an Address</span>. If you add or edit an address in this window, you have the choice to save the changes to the customer record.</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">Select <span class="hcp4">Ship via UPS</span>.</p>

<p class="Help-Steps">If using an <a href="shipping_shipmgr_scale.htm">electronic scale</a>, place the parcel on the scale.</p>

<p class="Help-Indent">Shipping Manager is launched and the shipping form is displayed, with the customer's shipping address and the weight (if using scale) pre-filled.</p>

<p class="Help-Nested-List"><span class="hcp4">View</span> <span>to display a list of prior shipments made, track or cancel them, and run reports.</span></p>

<p class="Help-Steps">Select <font class="hcp6">Ship</font> to complete the shipment and print a shipping label. A confirmation is displayed, which can be printed or copied. Select <span class="hcp4">OK</span> to return the shipping information to the sales receipt.</p>

<p class="Help-Text"><span class="hcp4">To edit or remove the shipping charges</span>: Click the Options button in shipping information area and select the appropriate action. If editing, the Enter Shipping Information dialog is re-opened. Edit as necessary and save.</p>

<p class="Help-Bulleted">If selling customer order items on the receipt, any shipping information recorded on the <a href="shipping_shipmgr_estimates.htm">customer order</a> is carried to the sales receipt. If the order is only being partially filled (i.e. some items remain due), you are asked if you want to apply the shipping charge to the current receipt.</p>

|
|
<p class="Help-Bulleted">Subject to <a href="../qbpos_secadmin/secadminoverview.htm">security rights</a> and these <a href="shipping_editordelete.htm">limitations</a>, you can edit the shipping amount recorded on the receipt; even if that amount was brought over from the Shipping Manager.</p>

<p class="Help-Bulleted">If requiring user logins, the <a href="../qbpos_secadmin/secadminoverview.htm">security right</a> "POS > Edit shipping amount", can be used to allow or prevent editing of the shipping amount on a receipt.</p>

<p class="Help-Bulleted">You can <a href="../qbpos_print_designer/printdesigner_oview.htm">customize</a> your packing slip and store shipping label print templates if needed.</p>
